Examples of my work: You can see examples of my summaries, scanlations, and translations on my website.
I'm offering: Japanese to English translation. Your choice of manga/doujinshi summary, translation, or full scanlation.
Summary: A summary of a full volume (~180 pages) of manga. This can be a volume in a series or a stand-alone. My summaries range from 1000-5000 words, depending on the amount of action. You must be able to provide raws or if you are not sure where to find raws, ask me if it's something I can find (I am just not willing to actually buy any manga for this). If you bid higher than the starting amount, I may be willing to do more than one volume.
Translation: A script-style translation of a manga or doujinshi, up to 40 pages. This can be a chapter of a longer manga, a one-shot, or a doujinshi. If you have two or more things that combine to ~40 pages, that's okay, too. Again, you must provide raws (especially for doujinshi, as I have no resources for finding them myself). If you bid higher than the starting amount, I may be willing to do more pages.
Scanlation: A scanlation of a manga or doujinshi, up to 20 pages. This can be a short chapter of a longer manga or a short doujinshi. If you have two or more things that combine to ~20 pages, that's okay, too. Again, you must provide raws (especially for doujinshi, as I have no resources for finding them myself). If you bid higher than the starting amount, I may be willing to do more pages.
I don't have any limits regarding graphic sex or violence. Het, slash, femslash, gen are all okay.
Fandoms: For doujinshi, any fandom is fine. It doesn't have to be something I'm familiar with.
Additional Info: I have 10+ years experience as a professional translator.
Starting Bid: £10 (about $16 US)

Examples of my work: No examples up, as I think readings should be confidential, but check out the decks I have available to use.
I'm offering: A 3-card reading (I might expand, if I don't get a good answer from the 3 cards I draw), using any of the decks I own (see above link), on any question you'd like (remember that I'm not a medical or legal professional, of course). I'm a new reader (a year's worth of reading on tarot, and only about 10 readings to my name), so no miracles, but I'll give it my best! I'll send you a write-up of my reading, and scans of the cards in it.
Fandoms (if appropriate): Here's another option: Do you RP? Fan a certain character? Reading for characters can be a lot of fun! Give me info about your character, and a question they might ask, or you want answered about them, and I'll read for them.
Starting Bid: £3

Additional Info (optional): I've been reading for about three and a half years, and I read from the Tarot of the Dead, in case, y'know, you don't like skeletons. I am a card reader, not a psychic; this is not an offer for a psychic reading.

From:Offer: Turning your fanfic (or document) into ebook
Date: 13 March 2011 16:08 (UTC)Email address: PM
I'm offering
I'll turn your fanfic (or any document, really) into a .mobi format ebook.
Starting bid
1 pound for every 5,000 words. If your fanfic/document is 5,001 words long, starting bid is 2 pounds.
How is this service useful?
- People can read your fanfic/document on any mobi-compatible devices, including Amazon's Kindle.
- People can read your fanfic/document in any mobi-compatible softwares, including Amazon's FREE Kindle software which is available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows PC, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone 7.
- As much as I love AO3, their mobi converter has not been perfected. I can make sure your .mobi ebook does not contain any weird characters or funny formatting.
Who can bid on this service?
Absolutely anyone. It doesn't matter that you are the author of the fanfic or not. As long as you can link me to the web page where the fanfic is posted, or email it to me as a document, we'll be fine.
What about the accompanying artwork?
If you wish, I can put the posters, dividers etc. into your ebook. Keep in mind that the images will likely be scaled down and you ebook will definitely have a larger file size. it doesn't cost extra to put the artwork in.
How long will it take?
Depending on the word count, but I imagine no longer than 2 - 3 days.

From:1 wish/1000 paper cranes
Date: 15 March 2011 18:23 (UTC)Email address: user name - at - yahoo.com
I'm offering: For approximately the past ten years, I've been folding paper cranes. I currently have nine-hundred-and-fifty-some, but I've been putting off finishing the thousand because I can't think of anything I want that I'm certain enough about to spend 10 years' worth of wish on it.
If you win this auction, you can e-mail me your wish, and I'll fold the last few dozen cranes and make your wish, then mail them to an address of your choice (you pay postage from the US) or dispose of them in some other way you specify.
Additional Info (optional): The cranes are folded out of scrap paper, mostly small foil candy wrappers, mostly in strings of 25. So they're shiny, but not really decorative, and some of them show the marks of having knocked around with me for ten years and multiple moves. Bid on this for the wish, not the craft, or you might be disappointed.
Also, I reserve the right to decline a wish that is openly malicious or otherwise ethically problematic, at my discretion.
And I make no guarantees whatsoever that any wish will come true.

Examples of my work: Example! Please note, as each box is custom-complied, your contents will probably look nothing like this.
I am offering: A mystery box. The winning bidder will let me know his or her likes/dislikes, interests, maybe favorite books or television shows. I will also maybe secretly ask for info from the winner's friend's list. I will take take all this information, go out, and compile a MYSTERY BOX (ooooh), full of various things I think might make my winner smile.
Fandoms (if appropriate): Anything is game, since this box will be personalized, but I am familiar with Burn Notice, Supernatural, Fruits Basket, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam Wing, the BBC's Merlin, Ouran High School Host Club, Naruto, FMA, and most stuff Marvel and DC to name a few things.
Additional Info (optional): On top of being an adept scavenger hunter, I also write, bead, and crochet. I will be incredibly flexible with taking input on what the box might possibly contain (food allergies, can't stand the color purple, etc), but mostly I'm just going to have at. Your Mystery Box will contain at least two personalized-for-you finds, among other goodies, which might include snacks, music, scribbled bits of fanction, books, jewelry, and maybe even a crocheted something, depending on how high the bidding goes.
I will ship anywhere, but I do ask that, in the event the box gets very heavy and I'm shipping far, far away, that we can split the cost of shipping. I would prefer the donation to be to Doctors Without Borders.
