Starting bid 1 pound for every 5,000 words. If your fanfic/document is 5,001 words long, starting bid is 2 pounds.
How is this service useful? - People can read your fanfic/document on any mobi-compatible devices, including Amazon's Kindle. - People can read your fanfic/document in any mobi-compatible softwares, including Amazon's FREE Kindle software which is available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows PC, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone 7. - As much as I love AO3, their mobi converter has not been perfected. I can make sure your .mobi ebook does not contain any weird characters or funny formatting.
Who can bid on this service? Absolutely anyone. It doesn't matter that you are the author of the fanfic or not. As long as you can link me to the web page where the fanfic is posted, or email it to me as a document, we'll be fine.
What about the accompanying artwork? If you wish, I can put the posters, dividers etc. into your ebook. Keep in mind that the images will likely be scaled down and you ebook will definitely have a larger file size. it doesn't cost extra to put the artwork in.
How long will it take? Depending on the word count, but I imagine no longer than 2 - 3 days.
