Bidding Rules

Beta Services (Any Fandom or Original Fiction)

I'm offering: 2 x Beta-reading/proof-reading/editing for 1 or more stories to a total of 10K words each (ie the top two bids will get beta services for up to 1 x 10K words each). For every £2 over £16, I will add a further 500 words to the limit. For example, a winning bid of £20 would have a limit of 11K words.

Fandoms (if appropriate): I am happy to work on any fandom or original fiction. A list of fandoms I'm particularly familiar with can be found here, a mixture of anime/manga, books, video gaming, real person fiction and western and Japanese dramas/movies.

Additional Info (optional): I have been writing fan fic and providing beta-reading for other writers' fan work for over ten years. I also proofread for pay in RL. I am a native speaker of English.

I can check for spelling, grammar, tense consistency, repetitive or clunky phrasings and in-story continuity. (If I know the fandom well, I can also optionally check for continuity with canon).

I would be happy to work on stories that are anywhere between gen and explicit, and/or kinkfic. (If it's a kink or kinky orientation I'm familiar with, I'd be happy to optionally "kink-pick" your draft, too.) I would be happy to work with characters of any gender, and pairings/moresomes of any sexuality. I have extremely few squicks or triggers and am familiar with a wide variety of fannish tropes.

Please expect at least one week's per 5 000 words for return of your draft(s), though this may be negotiable with advance notice. I will aim to return drafts to you ASAP, but as I am offering 2 auctions here and 2 at livejournal's help_japan, I'm anticipating having to space things out.
